 Mapes Industries has manufactured high quality commercial architectural products for glazing infill since 1952. Founded by J.S. Mapes, the company developed the original laminated metal panel to be used extensively for wall facing and storefront remodeling. The unique Mapes porcelain on aluminum surface has become the finish of choice due to its wide range of color options and nearly impervious surface. The insulated panel was developed to meet the ever-increasing needs of an energy conscious world. Mapes has continued to be a leader in the development of laminated panel solutions for the construction industry. Mapes panels are distributed on a non-exclusive basis to more than 4000 qualified dealers whose primary function is to service the architectural glass and glazing trade. Mapes canopies can be designed to meet almost any specification and are built under the strictest quality control. Our Lumishade is a permanent all weather canopy that can be used in any critical, high load environment. The Super Lumideck hanger rod canopy is the pre-engineered all extruded counterpart to the Lumishade design. It can be used in applications where there is a need for both high loads and long spans.
